On this particular evening we had decided to take the girls on a mystery walk around the local area, they were split into groups and each group given a set of questions to answer along the walk. One of the last questions was

'What is in the garden of house number 36'

The following conversation took place with all four groups of girls
Brownies  We can't answer this question
Adults       Why, can you not see what is
                 in the garden?
Brownies  No because there is a boat in
                 the way
Adults       So what is in the garden then?
Brownies  We can't see there is a boat in
                 the way
Adults       So the answer is ...
Brownies We don't know, none of us can
                 see round the boat.

The answer being the big boat that was taking up the whole of the garden

At this point the adults decided to give up as the conversation was not going anywhere,
Once back at the hall we told the girls that the answer to the question was 'The Boat' They just looked at us and said it wasn't fair, how were they to know that was what they were looking for.
